The app also delivers SonarChartTM HD bathymetry maps, including 1′ (0.5 meters) HD bottom contour information. AN ACTIVE AND HELPFUL COMMUNITY

Navionics Boating has a great community. Using Community Edits and the ActiveCaptain® Community, you can learn and share local expertise with thousands of boaters. You may also locate local attractions, navigation aids, and expert advice. But that’s not all. The app lets you stay in touch with friends and fellow boaters by sharing your current position, tracks, routes, and markers to meet on the water or show off your travels. GPX import/export lets you share app data or transfer it to your chartplotter. You may even share a marina, repair shop, or another place outside the app.

EXTERNAL DEVICE-FRIENDLY FOR MORE FEATURES

Navionics Boating has extra functions for chartplotters. Plotter Sync allows you to transfer routes and markers between your chartplotter and the app and activate, update, or renew your Navionics chartplotter card membership. If you connect to a suitable sonar/plotter, you can use SonarChart Live Mapping to build real-time maps while navigating. To view adjacent maritime traffic, select a safe range, and receive visual and auditory notifications of possible collisions, you can connect a suitable AIS receiver to Wi-Fi.

DAILY UPDATE

Navionics Boating provides daily updates with up to 5,000 updates globally. This means you’ll always have the latest information, including changes to the bottom topography, navigation aids, and maritime services. Daily updates ensure accurate data.
